Living Traditions Folk Ensemble was created in 2000 to keep alive the dances, songs and culture of Poland, Croatia and the Polish, Croatian and the Carpatho-Rusyn territories. The Brecksville-based group has offered folk dance workshops, presented cultural education programs, and performed for community programs throughout Ohio and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Director, choreographer and co-founder of LTFE, Cathy Piłat Katrenich is an award-winning professional with more than 30 years of experience in ethnic folk dance. She embodies the joyful spirit of this tradition and is passionate about enthusiastically sharing her knowledge with youth, adults and seniors in ways that it is appealing to each level.
